LifeVantage sells dietary supplements, skin-care and weight-management products (Protandim, TrueScience, the MindBody GLP-1 System and, since October 2025, the P84 System, Carb Block and AXIO lines bought from LoveBiome) through independent consultants, mostly in the United States and Japan. The business lives or dies by the size and enthusiasm of that sales network, and the network is shrinking: active independent consultants fell from 51,000 to 43,000 in the year to June 2026, total active accounts fell 21%, and revenue dropped from $228.5 million to $182.6 million. The pattern is a repeat of the company's history: a hit product lifts sales for a year or two and then fades. MindBody GLP-1 revenue fell from $40.8 million to $22.5 million, Protandim fell $13.3 million and TrueScience $10.9 million, only partly offset by $9.1 million from the acquired P84 System. Revenue has gone essentially nowhere in ten years ($199 million in fiscal 2017, $183 million in fiscal 2026). Owner earnings. We measure the cash the business generates from its operations, strip out swings in inventory, payables and other working capital, and charge stock compensation and the capital spending needed to stay in business. On that basis owner earnings over the last ten years ranged from about $0.11 to $0.98 per share, with a median of about $0.53 over fiscal 2021-2026 and about $0.52 over the full decade - a full product cycle including the Protandim-era trough (fiscal 2017-2018), the pandemic peak (fiscal 2020-2021), the post-peak trough (fiscal 2023-2024) and the GLP-1 bump (fiscal 2025). Fiscal 2026 owner earnings were about $6.6 million ($0.52 a share), down 34% from $9.9 million in fiscal 2025, but that figure is flattered: the company wrote off $2.7 million of inventory it had built during the GLP-1 launch, and because that cash went out as a working-capital build in fiscal 2025 the loss never shows up in either year's owner earnings. Charging it brings the underlying fiscal 2026 figure to roughly $4 million. Interest is negligible (about $11,000 paid), so the business and the shareholders' earnings are essentially the same stream. Balance sheet. At June 30, 2026 the company had $14.9 million of cash, no borrowings (it drew and repaid $2.5 million on its revolving line during the year), about $9.9 million of office and warehouse leases that are already paid out of operating cash, and a LoveBiome earnout now estimated at only $0.1 million. We treat about $10 million of the cash as surplus to operations, about $0.79 a share. The company pays a dividend of about $0.18 a share a year (about $2.3 million) and has bought back roughly enough stock to offset stock compensation. Base case ($4.29 a share). Owner earnings begin around $4.3 million in fiscal 2027. That is below the fiscal 2026 reported level and in line with the underlying figure; it reflects the March 2026 quarter revenue of $43.7 million (down more than 25% from a year earlier) and continued consultant attrition, and it is consistent with the 34% decline in the most recent year, so no rebound is assumed in year one. From there earnings shrink about 3% a year, the average rate at which this company's consultant base has eroded between product hits, for as long as the story runs. We credit no growth: new products have historically produced short bursts that fade, the LoveBiome lines are too new to have a record, and nothing is contracted. Business value about $44 million plus $10 million of surplus cash, with no debt, gives $54 million or $4.29 a share. Bear case ($2.13 a share). Direct sellers have a demonstrated record of multi-year troughs when a hero product fades and recruiting stalls; this company had one in fiscal 2023-2024, when owner earnings averaged about $2 million, and one in fiscal 2017-2018. The bear case runs three years at $1.4 million - the fiscal 2023 trough level on today's smaller revenue base - with the dividend likely cut, then a partial recovery to $2.5 million that erodes 6% a year and ends after year 15 as the network ages out. It also covers a regulatory blow in Japan or the United States, where multi-level marketing rules are a standing risk. With no debt, the company survives this: value of about $17 million plus $10 million of cash, or $2.13 a share. Bull case ($7.14 a share). The new CEO, Terrence Moorehead, and the LoveBiome product lines stabilise the consultant base and owner earnings return to about $6.5 million by fiscal 2029 - roughly the level the business actually produced in fiscal 2019-2025 at similar revenue - then hold for the rest of the decade before eroding 2% a year. This requires a turnaround that is not yet evident, which is why it is the bull case and not the base. Value about $81 million plus cash, $7.14 a share. What could make this wrong. The biggest uncertainty is the earnings level itself: the honest range for normal owner earnings runs from about $2 million to $7 million, and the trend in consultants is down. If attrition continues at the 2026 pace (15-20% a year) for two or three more years, even the base case is too high. On the other side, the company has repeatedly found a new product that lifts sales, and nothing in our cases gives it credit for doing so again. Margin-of-safety price ($1.60). We are not confident in the earnings level, because the business has no durable franchise and the sales force is shrinking. The worst plausible outcome - a prolonged trough plus a regulatory problem in Japan - would cut earnings to near break-even, but the company carries no debt and holds about $15 million of cash, so it would survive and the shares would be backed largely by cash and a small, still-profitable operation. If we are wrong about the pace of consultant attrition and the durability of the newest products, the shares are worth roughly the bear case, about $2. Measured against $1.60, the dividend would represent about an 11% yield as long as it is maintained, and roughly half the price is covered by surplus cash; from that price, even the bear-case value reached within two years, together with the dividend, implies about a 20% annual return, while the base case implies far more. The margin-of-safety price is no higher because the base case rests on an earnings stream that has been shrinking and could keep shrinking. Previous estimates were prepared on a different basis and are not comparable; the business itself has weakened since the last review, with the fiscal 2026 results confirming the fade of the GLP-1 product and a 21% fall in active accounts.

Sales geography
United States (all regions), Japan, Mexico, Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and other European markets; the United States and Japan are each more than 10% of revenue.
Historical growth strategy
Growth has come in bursts from a single hero product launched through its independent-consultant network (Protandim, then TrueScience, then the MindBody GLP-1 weight-management system), supplemented by small product-line acquisitions such as the Petandim line and the October 2025 purchase of LoveBiome's operating assets (P84 System, Carb Block, AXIO). Each burst has faded as consultant counts fell; free cash has gone to dividends and buybacks rather than expansion.
Chart analysis
A chartist would describe a classic blow-off and round trip: the shares spent years basing in the mid-single digits, then went nearly vertical in late 2024 and early 2025 as the GLP-1 weight-management launch excited the market, peaking far above the long-term range before breaking down. Since then the stock has made a series of lower highs and lower lows, giving back essentially the whole spike and trading back toward or below the old base, with the long-term moving averages now rolling over. Most chartists would call it a broken chart in a downtrend until it builds a new base and reclaims its declining averages.
