One Stop Systems designs and builds rugged, high-performance computers, servers and data-storage systems that run artificial-intelligence and sensor-processing workloads outside the data center: aboard US Navy P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft, in a classified mobile intelligence platform for a defense customer, in autonomous trucks and mining equipment, and in liquid-cooled servers for a medical-imaging maker's breast-cancer screening system. On December 30, 2025 the company sold Bressner, its German distribution subsidiary, so what remains is a smaller, almost entirely US-based engineering and manufacturing business. We value only that business. Track record. On its own, the remaining business has not yet made money for its owners. After a major customer relationship ended, revenue fell to $24.6 million in 2024 and the company wrote down $7.1 million of inventory. Cash earnings, after stock-based pay and equipment spending and ignoring timing swings in receivables and inventory, were about -$7.4 million (-$0.34 a share). In 2025 revenue recovered 31% to $32.2 million, gross margin rose to 49.6% on better product mix and contract pricing, and cash earnings improved to about -$2.6 million (-$0.11 a share). We start from the 2025 level. We set aside the 2024 figure as the trough after the customer loss, and the pre-2025 years because they include the German business that has now been sold. In the first half of 2026 revenue grew 59% to $17.4 million. Excluding the one-off settlement below, the operating loss narrowed to about $2.1 million from $4.9 million a year earlier. Balance sheet. At June 30, 2026 the company held $31.4 million of cash and short-term investments and had essentially no debt. This came from the Bressner sale proceeds and a $12.5 million share sale in 2025. In the second quarter it recorded a $6.25 million charge to settle a dispute with a former customer. We treat that as cash going out, which leaves about $25 million, or roughly $1.00 a share. Because this cash is a large share of what the company is worth, we count it at face value and leave interest income out of the earnings stream, so it is not counted twice. Base case ($1.02). Revenue of about $41 million in 2026, in line with orders already booked: first-half orders ran 1.7 times shipments, and second-quarter orders of $15.1 million were the largest in the company's history. Revenue then reaches about $48 million in 2027 as that order surplus ships, and stays flat after that. We credit no further growth because new programs are not yet contracted. The June 2026 defense award counts only for the $8.4 million actually ordered, not the $44 million the company says the program could be worth over four years. With gross margin at 43% and operating costs, including stock pay, of about $21 million, the business runs at roughly break-even. It only starts earning money for its owners once revenue passes about $48 million, which is about where this case levels off. Owner earnings improved by about $4.7 million in 2025. The base case assumes a slower improvement of about $1.4 million a year through 2026 and 2027, below that trailing pace. Almost all of the value in this case is the net cash. Bear case ($0.51). Customer concentration is the named risk. The top three customers were 61% of 2025 revenue, and the 2024 collapse shows what losing one does. In this case, losing a top customer takes 2027 revenue to about $36 million and gross margin to 36%, the low end of the range the company describes as sustainable. The business then loses about $6.5 million in 2027 and $4 million in 2028, and cuts costs back to break-even by 2030, as it did in 2024 and 2025. The first-half 2026 inventory build of about $8 million adds the risk of another write-down. The cash easily covers the losses, so the company does not need to borrow, but about half of the cash is used up. Bull case ($2.60). The company's own programs keep delivering. Follow-on orders under the defense intelligence program, P-8A demand and the medical-imaging and autonomous-equipment customers take revenue to about $55 million in 2027 and $64 million by 2029, at a 45% gross margin, with costs rising to $24 million. Owner earnings reach about $5 million a year, and taxes are sheltered by past losses until about 2031. Because the company has no long record of standalone profit, these earnings fade to zero over the ten years after 2036 rather than being assumed to last forever. All cash flows are discounted at 6%. The wide gap between the cases reflects a small company that depends on a handful of customers and has not yet shown it can earn money on its own. The main things that would prove this analysis wrong are: orders continuing to grow at the 2026 pace and turning into lasting profit (upside), or losing a top customer, or the inventory build turning into a write-down, before revenue passes break-even (downside). We could not see the full second-quarter 2026 cash-flow statement, including when the settlement is paid, so the figures after year-end 2025 come from the company's reported results rather than a full reconciliation.
