Microbot Medical develops LIBERTY, a single-use robotic system that lets a physician steer guidewires and catheters through blood vessels from a distance, initially for peripheral vascular procedures. Its selling point is that, unlike existing vascular robots, it needs no capital equipment, dedicated room or dedicated staff. The FDA cleared LIBERTY in September 2025, a limited US launch began in November 2025, and Emory University Hospital and Tampa General Hospital have since adopted it. The company has no other product and no sales outside the United States; a European CE Mark is targeted for the second half of 2026 but is not yet granted. The business has never made money. Revenue was zero in every year through 2025. The first sales in its history were $105,000 in the first quarter of 2026 and $241,000 in the second. Over the same six months, operating activities used $10.0 million of cash, and the yearly rate is about $20 million as a sales force is built and launch inventory is bought. Owner earnings (operating cash flow with working-capital timing, stock compensation and equipment spending taken out) have been negative every year: about -$5 million to -$7 million a year in 2017-2019, -$9 million to -$13 million a year since 2020, and -$13.2 million in 2025. Per share the losses have shrunk from -$2.53 in 2018 to -$0.29 in 2025, but only because the share count has exploded. Shares outstanding went from 7.1 million in 2021 to 67.2 million at mid-2026, funded by public offerings and repeated deals that paid warrant holders to exercise early. Warrants for about 14 million more shares remain outstanding at $4.50, expiring in 2028. In 2024 we removed a one-time legal settlement and its insurance recovery from the figures. We treated the 2025 launch inventory and supplier deposit as working capital rather than as a lasting cost. What the company does have is a clean balance sheet: about $67.4 million of cash and marketable securities at June 30, 2026, no borrowings and no interest bill. That cash is effectively the whole of what can be valued today. A cleared device and two hospital adopters are real, but there is not yet a sales record from which a profitable business can be built, so none of our cases credits future product profits. Growth that depends on hospitals adopting a new product is not yet in hand. If sales build into a record over the coming quarters, that will change. Bear case ($0.04 per share): the launch does not gain traction, and the company does what its record shows it does, which is to keep funding development and commercial spending at about $20 million a year until the cash is gone, around late 2029, and then raise more money on terms that leave today's holders with almost nothing. The business is worth roughly $3 million against no debt. Engineering and manufacturing are in Israel, and the military conflict that began in February 2026 is a named disruption risk that sits in this case. Base case ($0.18 per share): spending continues at the current rate of about $20 million a year for roughly three years, which is about $60 million in total. That leaves a few million dollars plus a small business whose own cash flow cannot yet be shown to be positive. In today's money, the cash on hand less the planned spending is about $12 million, against no debt, or $0.18 a share. Bull case ($0.50 per share): the company's own lever, its ability to decide how much to spend, works in holders' favor. Launch results arrive quickly enough that within about two years, at roughly $35 million of further spending, either the product proves itself or spending is cut while about half the cash is still in hand. That is about $34 million of value against no debt. The warrants at $4.50 are well out of reach in every case, so we value per share on the 67.2 million shares outstanding. Margin of safety price: $0.10. We are not sure of any earnings level, because there are no earnings yet; what we can count is cash. The worst plausible outcome is the one this company's own history points to: cash runs out before sales cover costs, and new money comes in at prices that wipe out existing holders. There is no debt to force a crisis, but there is also no lender or contract keeping spending in check. If we are wrong about how fast the cash is spent, or about how long management will keep spending without traction, holders get anywhere from almost nothing to roughly half of today's cash. Nothing is paid over the holding period: there is no dividend, and every year shrinks the cash. From $0.10 a share, the cash left after about three years of planned spending would still imply roughly 20% a year, and a faster wind-down or a quicker pivot leaves room to spare. Above that, the result depends on a commercial success that has not happened yet. Our earlier valuation was built on assumptions about LIBERTY eventually reaching a mature, profitable business, which we no longer credit before sales show it. Those figures are not comparable. In the business itself, first revenue has arrived and two named hospitals have adopted the system, while cash consumption has risen to about $20 million a year.

Sales geography
United States, South (Georgia, Florida); limited market release to selected high-procedure-volume regions; no sales outside the United States yet
Historical growth strategy
Single-product medical-device developer funded almost entirely by repeated public offerings and warrant inducements; growth to date has meant moving LIBERTY through development and FDA clearance, then a limited US launch through direct sales to high-volume hospital systems, with international expansion (CE Mark) and distributor partnerships planned but not yet in place.
Chart analysis
A chartist would see a long-term downtrend typical of a cash-burning development-stage company, punctuated by a 1-for-15 reverse split in 2018 and repeated offering-driven drops. The chart was transformed by a sharp, news-driven spike around the 2025 FDA clearance, followed by a fade as heavy dilution from warrant exercises followed. The roughly 14 million warrants struck at $4.50 mark a level chartists would treat as overhead resistance.
