Mama's Creations (MamaMancini's, T&L Creative Salads, Olive Branch) makes refrigerated prepared foods for supermarket delis and hot bars: meatballs and sauces, grilled proteins, salads, sandwiches and paninis. Nearly everything is made in its own U.S. plants and sold nationwide through a commission broker network to large retail chains and food distributors. In September 2025 it bought Crown 1 Foods, a maker of value-added proteins and ready-to-heat meals, for $17.3 million in cash; Crown 1 added about $23.2 million of sales in the five months it was owned in fiscal 2026 (year ended January 31, 2026). How we measured earnings. We start from operating cash flow, remove swings in receivables, inventory, payables and prepaid items, subtract stock compensation as a real cost, and subtract only the part of capital spending needed to maintain the plants (spending that merely supports growth is not charged). Per share this gave $0.06 (FY2020), $0.11, $0.00, $0.10 (FY2023), $0.21, $0.06 and $0.26 (FY2026). We treat the business as transformed by the 2022 salads and Olive Branch acquisitions, which doubled revenue to $93 million, so we look at FY2023 onward. The median of those four years is about $0.13 per share on today's share count, but FY2025 was depressed by $5.1 million of plant-capacity spending that produced the FY2026 volume gains, and FY2026 held Crown 1 for only five months. We therefore use roughly $7.0 million of annual owner earnings, about $0.155 per share on roughly 45 million diluted shares, as the starting level. That is below the $10.6 million actually earned in FY2026. Growth in FY2026 owner earnings was very large (about $2.3 million to $10.6 million), driven by working capital and the capex timing; our first-year growth assumption of 8% on the normalized level is well below that, so no reversal of a slowdown is being assumed. The first half of FY2027 (six months to July 2026) was strong, with sales of $107.3 million versus $70.5 million and operating cash flow of $11.9 million versus $4.3 million, but two quarters are not enough to raise the starting level. Base case, about $2.90 per share. Sales have grown every year since at least FY2020, including through 2020, and in FY2026 roughly $21.4 million of the increase was higher volume and $3.8 million was pricing, separate from Crown 1. We credit that record at a rate below what the company has achieved: owner earnings growing 8% in year one, tapering to 2% by year ten, then held flat for a further 15 years, the span of the company's own operating history. We do not credit the stated goal of reaching $1 billion of sales, future acquisitions, margin gains or new channels, because none of these are secured. Bear case, about $0.60 per share. Two customers accounted for 38% and 17% of FY2026 sales (the largest was 44% in FY2025). We assume margins stay at the current thin 25% gross margin with continued protein cost pressure, so owner earnings fall to $5 million for two years, then the largest customer halves its volume and owner earnings settle near $2.5 million for the remainder of a 15-year life with no growth. Debt is modest (about $5.4 million on a term loan due October 2030, and no balance on a $5.5 million credit line), so leverage is not the main risk; customer concentration is. Bull case, about $4.90 per share. Crown 1 and the new capacity deliver a full year, so owner earnings start near $10 million (close to FY2026 actual and below the recent half-year pace), growing 12% in year one and tapering to 2% by year ten, then flat for 15 years. What could make this wrong: loss of a major retail customer, further increases in protein and freight costs that the company cannot pass on (management notes price increases can lag costs), and share issuance. Stock compensation rose to $2.0 million in FY2026 and diluted shares grew about 10% in the past year, including shares issued to fund Crown 1. We did not credit any tariff effects: management states nearly all inputs are domestic. The six-month figures come from the latest quarterly report; we could not read its narrative, so the split between Crown 1 and existing business in the current year is not verified.
