Business condition attached to the margin of safety Constant-currency revenue stops shrinking (flat or higher year over year for two consecutive quarters), with the technology, communications and healthcare client groups no longer falling at double-digit rates.
Concentrix is one of the world's largest outsourced customer-experience companies: it runs call-center, technical-support, back-office and digital customer-service work for large companies from delivery centers in 74 countries, with its biggest workforces in the Philippines and India. In September 2023 it roughly doubled in size by combining with Webhelp, a European peer, largely with borrowed money. The value is measured from that combination forward, because the earlier, smaller company is a different business. Per share, the combination made owners worse off: cash earnings were about $10–11.50 a share in the two years before the deal and $7.68–$9.00 afterward. Starting point. Operating cash flow, less stock-based pay, less the capital spending needed just to keep the business running, and with working-capital swings taken out, came to about $500 million in fiscal 2024 and $567 million in fiscal 2025 (years end November 30). Adding back the $282 million and $300 million of cash interest paid to lenders in those years gives what the business itself produces before its lenders are paid: $782 million and $867 million. The midpoint, about $824 million a year, is the starting level. Recent results were used to shape the path from here, not to set the level. Accounting judgements. Fiscal 2025 showed a $1.28 billion net loss, and the quarter ended August 31, 2026 showed a $988 million loss. Both came almost entirely from write-downs of goodwill from the Webhelp purchase ($1.52 billion and $1.05 billion). The company says these were triggered mainly by its falling share price. They are not cash costs, so they do not reduce the earnings figure above. They do show that the price paid for Webhelp has not been earned back. The roughly $430 million a year of amortization on acquired customer relationships is also added back. Those acquired relationships do wear out, though, so no case assumes that today's earnings keep growing on their own. The cash cost of restructuring (about $143 million of severance and site closures in the first nine months of fiscal 2026) is a real cost and has not been added back. What has changed. Revenue grew about 2% in fiscal 2025 and grew in the first half of fiscal 2026. It has now turned down. Revenue for the quarter ended August 31, 2026 was $2.45 billion, down 1.2% (0.5% in constant currency). The full-year outlook implies a fourth quarter noticeably below last year's $2.55 billion. The decline is concentrated in three client groups: technology and consumer electronics (down 10%), communications and media (down 7%) and healthcare (down 17%). Together they are about 46% of revenue, and they are the kinds of simple, repetitive customer contacts most exposed to AI automation. Banking and insurance (up 12%) and retail and travel (up 6%) are growing. Management says half of revenue now comes from work won in the last three years. That shows a working engine for replacing lost business, but not yet one that is growing the total. Our previous estimate assumed low-single-digit growth and earning power lasting two decades. The shift in revenue and a second large write-down lower that estimate. So does a fuller accounting for the company's debt. Base case (median): Earning power slips about 3% next year and about 2% a year for four more years as the shrinking client groups keep shrinking, partly offset by the cost cuts already under way. It then holds flat through year 10 at about $740 million, supported by the new-business engine and by largest-client relationships averaging 16 years. From year 11 it fades by half over the following decade, and nothing is counted beyond year 20, because no evidence reaches that far given the pace of automation. The business is worth about $7.8 billion. It owes about $4.4 billion, which leaves about $3.4 billion, or roughly $56 a share. Bear case (10th percentile): The three shrinking client groups keep falling at close to today's rates while the growing ones slow. Earning power drops to about $760 million next year and declines about 6% a year, reaching about $435 million by year 10, then fades to nothing over five years. With Moody's outlook already negative and S&P having cut the rating to the lowest investment-grade level, this case also assumes about $2.5 billion of debt maturing between late 2026 and 2029 is refinanced at roughly two points more than today, adding about $210 million to what is owed. The business is worth about $5.0 billion and owes about $4.6 billion, which leaves only about $0.36 billion, or roughly $6 a share. Even in this case the business keeps covering its roughly $300 million annual interest bill throughout, but there is very little left for shareholders. Bull case (90th percentile): The cost program already under way finishes, restructuring spending stops, and earning power returns to the fiscal 2025 level plus those savings: about $880 million next year and $925 million from year 2. It holds there for 20 years on the strength of the client-winning record, then fades over the following decade. No return to revenue growth is counted, because growth in the expanding client groups depends on winning market share, which cannot be banked in advance. The business is worth about $11.6 billion and owes about $4.4 billion, which leaves about $7.2 billion, or roughly $118 a share. Debt. At August 31, 2026 Concentrix owed about $4.39 billion: $800 million of 6.60% notes due 2028, $600 million of 6.50% notes due March 2029 (issued in February 2026 to refinance most of the 2026 notes, the rest of which were repaid in August), $550 million of 6.85% notes due 2033, and bank term loans and a receivables financing facility at floating rates. About $450 million is due within twelve months. Its roughly $245 million of cash is treated as needed to run a payroll-heavy business across 74 countries, not as surplus. The blended cost of the debt is close to 6%, so no adjustment was made for it outside the bear case. The main dates to watch are the 2027–2029 maturities, which total well over $2 billion. What the shares appear to be worth. The spread between the cases is very wide: about $6 in the bear case, $56 in the base case and $118 in the bull case. The whole question is how fast AI shrinks demand for outsourced customer service, and the heavy debt magnifies the answer for shareholders. The margin-of-safety price of about $27 leaves roughly half the base-case value as a cushion. Even so, the downside is severe enough that the margin-of-safety price assumes evidence the revenue decline has stopped (see condition). The estimate would prove too low if the new-business engine returns the company to growth. It would prove too high if the double-digit declines in technology, communications and healthcare spread to the rest of the client base.

Chart analysis
A chartist would see a long, persistent downtrend. The stock peaked around $200 in late 2021, then made a series of lower highs and lower lows through 2024–2026, with a 52-week range of $19.12 to $49.37. It closed at $24.88 on September 29, 2026, then gapped down about 10% after hours to around $22.40 following the third-quarter report. That puts it back near the spring 2026 low around $19, which a technician would treat as the key support level. A hold there could be read as a possible double-bottom base. A decisive break below it would signal the downtrend continuing. With the price far below its longer-term averages and no series of higher highs yet, a trend-follower would call the chart bearish until the stock reclaims the $30s.
