Revolve is an online fashion retailer. It sells through two segments on one platform: REVOLVE, a premium, trend-driven assortment of apparel, footwear, beauty and accessories that includes 28 owned brands, and FWRD, a curated luxury assortment. About 79% of 2025 net sales were in the United States and 21% went to customers abroad. It offers free shipping and free returns to U.S. customers and carries a returns reserve and a large inventory. It earns money on the gap between what customers pay and what product costs, less marketing, fulfilment and returns. How we measured earnings. We start from cash generated by operations, remove the swing caused by inventory, receivables, payables and the returns reserve, and then subtract equity-based compensation and the part of capital spending needed just to maintain the business. On that basis, per-share earnings were about $0.61 (2018), $0.46 (2019), $0.84 (2020), $1.33 (2021), $0.73 (2022), $0.32 (2023), $0.58 (2024) and $0.78 (2025). The 2021 figure was the post-pandemic rebound peak and 2023 was the weakest year, when sales fell about 3%. We anchor on the middle of 2020 through 2025, about $0.75 per share, which spans a rebound, a decline and a recovery. Earlier years were left out because the company was smaller and its share count was very different. Removing inventory build from earnings is a deliberate choice: Revolve added inventory in most years, so if that build proves permanent, true earnings would be lower than shown. Base case, about $8.40 per share. Earnings stay near $0.75 a year for 15 years, then fade to zero over the following 10 years. We credit no growth. Revenue rose from $499 million in 2018 to $1.23 billion in 2025, but that came from new customers and share gains, which we do not treat as secured. What supports keeping the current level is an eight-year record of positive earnings every year, including through the 2020 pandemic and the 2023 decline. Nothing we can point to secures earnings beyond roughly 2041, so value fades toward zero by about 2051. Earnings per share grew about 33% in 2025 (from $0.58 to $0.78) and we assume no growth, so no reversal of a slowdown is required. Bear case, about $3.00 per share. Earnings fall back to the 2023 trough of $0.32 and stay there for 10 years, then fade over 10 more. The named risks are in the company's filing. Revolve sources a significant portion of its products, directly or indirectly, from China, and at points in 2025 the total tariff rate on Chinese goods reached 152.5%. A February 20, 2026 Supreme Court ruling against tariffs imposed under the emergency-powers statute leaves the effect on tariffs already paid undetermined, and tariffs could return. The 2023 result shows what a demand decline does to profit. Bull case, about $14.10 per share. Earnings start at the 2025 level of $0.78 and grow 5% a year for 10 years, hold for 10 years, then fade over 10. A 5% rate is well below the roughly 13% annual revenue growth since 2018, and it is supported by 2025 sales growth of about 8.5%, and by first-half 2026 sales of $690 million against $606 million a year earlier, with net income rising from $22.0 million to $32.9 million. We did not credit margin expansion or any new market because neither is secured. What we left out. First-half 2026 operating cash flow was $41.2 million versus $57.8 million a year earlier. This is a single half-year, so we did not change the earnings level. Outside analyst estimates play no role. What could make this wrong. Fashion tastes shift and the business depends on continuing to win customers, so a lasting drop in demand or a permanent rise in inventory would push value toward the bear case. Equity-based pay of about $10.6 million a year is treated as a real cost. Net income and operating cash flow reconcile in 2025 once all non-cash items and working capital lines are included. Margin-of-safety price. A large margin of safety is warranted: earnings per share swung between $0.32 and $1.33 across six years, and the business is exposed to fashion cycles, tariffs and the cost of free returns. The margin-of-safety price, near $5, is about 40% below the base case and about two-thirds above the bear case.
