Business condition attached to the margin of safety Non-Amazon (international/other-marketplace) revenue continuing to grow as a share of total revenue (10.6% of FY2025 revenue, up ~60% year over year), evidencing reduced single-platform concentration rather than deepening dependence on Amazon.
Pattern Group Inc. is an ecommerce accelerator: it buys inventory from more than 200 brand partners (health and wellness, beauty, home, pet, sports, and consumer electronics) and sells it directly to consumers across more than 70 online marketplaces worldwide, using its own technology for pricing, logistics, and marketplace optimization. The company went public on Nasdaq in September 2025, so audited results only go back to 2023, and this analysis is built on that shorter, cleaner window rather than a longer history that doesn't exist yet. The business has grown quickly: revenue rose from $1.37 billion in 2023 to $1.80 billion in 2024 to $2.50 billion in 2025, funded almost entirely from its own operating cash flow, with a healthy, mostly untouched $150 million credit line and no debt outstanding. Reported net income swung lower in 2025 (to $16 million from $68 million in 2024) purely because of two one-time, non-cash accounting charges tied to the IPO: a catch-up recognition of years of stock compensation that had been waiting on the IPO to vest, and a one-time charge from a change to founder preferred-stock terms made ahead of listing. Neither recurs. Stripping those out, the underlying operating income grew roughly in line with revenue. The first half of 2026 confirms this: stock compensation has normalized to roughly $37 million a year, a small fraction of the 2025 one-time charge, and both revenue and cash generation kept growing. The single most important fact about this business is that 93% of its 2025 revenue came from sales on Amazon's marketplaces. Pattern has no long-term contract guaranteeing that relationship continues on today's terms, and any future increase in Amazon's marketplace or referral fees, or a shift in Amazon's own policies toward third-party sellers, would hit Pattern's margins directly. Balanced against this is real, demonstrated stickiness with its own brand partners: 89% of 2025 revenue came from partners the company already had, and 53% came from partners it has worked with for more than five years - so while the business depends heavily on one distribution channel, the relationships riding on top of that channel look durable. The base case assumes growth cools from its recent 30-40% pace to about 15% next year, stepping down gradually to about 5% a year by year ten, reflecting a maturing base of existing partners plus continued, but not accelerating, expansion into new marketplaces and international markets (already growing faster than the U.S. business). Beyond year ten, we assume earnings simply continue at the year-ten level, supported by the demonstrated durability of existing partner relationships, without assuming further growth we can't yet point to evidence for. That produces a value of roughly $14 per share. The bear case assumes Amazon tightens fees or policy in a way that erodes margins for a couple of years, growth stalls, and the business only slowly recovers to modest, low single-digit growth - a scenario grounded in the single-platform dependence described above. That produces a value of roughly $7.50 per share. The bull case assumes the recent growth trajectory persists longer before decelerating, driven by continued expansion in new marketplaces and geographies where the company has already shown it can execute; that produces a value of roughly $20 per share. All three cases add back the company's roughly $285 million of cash beyond what it needs to run the business, since it carries no debt. Given how much of the value here rests on a single distribution partner, and how little public trading and reporting history exists to lean on, the margin-of-safety price is set at a large discount to intrinsic value: around $5 per share, which sits below the bear-case value, while the base case implies a substantially higher value. The estimate would gain support if non-Amazon revenue - already 11% of the total and growing faster than the Amazon business - continues to grow as a share of the total, since that would mean the company's biggest single risk is shrinking in relative importance over time. One note for readers: this is Pattern's first analysis, built entirely from its first 10-K and a partial second year of quarterly results, so the historical base is thinner than for a longer-established company; we'll have more data to sharpen this view after another year or two of public filings.

Sales geography
Primarily United States (about 89% of FY2025 revenue, sold nationwide across all US regions via online marketplaces rather than any single region). International sales (about 11% of FY2025 revenue, growing faster than the US business) span Europe, Australia, and Asia.

Chart analysis
PTRN has only traded publicly since its September 2025 IPO, so there is essentially no multi-year chart history for a chartist to draw trend lines, moving averages, or cyclical patterns from. The stock is a recent-IPO name, a category that typically sees elevated volatility in its first year, and the post-IPO lock-up expiration (typically ~180 days after listing, so around March 2026) can add a distinct supply-driven air pocket to the chart. Any technical reading at this stage says more about IPO-flow dynamics than about the underlying business, and a chartist would generally want to see at least a full year or two of trading, ideally spanning an earnings cycle or two, before treating any pattern on this chart as meaningful.
