Moving iMage Technologies distributes cinema equipment, including theater seating, and related installation services to theater exhibitors, directly and through domestic and international resellers, and books sales in the United States and internationally. Revenue was $18.1 million in the year ended June 30, 2025, down from $20.1 million a year earlier, and the company reported a net loss of $948,000 (prior year loss $1.4 million). The company reported a signed sales backlog of about $7.52 million at June 30, 2025, with shipments planned by April 30, 2026. What the business earns. We measure earnings as cash from operations, less working-capital swings, less stock compensation, less maintenance capital spending. On that basis the company has not earned a positive figure in any of the last five fiscal years: about $(0.26), $(0.18), $(0.07), $(0.05) and $(0.07) per share for fiscal 2021 through 2025. The loss is narrowing over time but has not disappeared. Reported operating cash flow of $437,000 in fiscal 2025 was positive only because $1.0 million was released from working capital (inventory fell $744,000 and payables rose $748,000); that is a one-time unwind, not earning power. We used the fiscal 2023 to 2025 median, about $(0.07) per share, roughly $(0.5) to $(0.7) million a year, as the normal level. Earlier years reflect a smaller, newly listed company. Growth check: the most recent year's change in this figure was slightly worse (from $(0.05) to $(0.07)), and the base case assumes no improvement in year one. What the shares are worth. With a recurring cash loss and no multi-year record of improvement that we can point to, we credit no future growth in any case; the $7.52 million backlog supports near-term revenue, but recent volumes of this size have still produced losses, so the backlog adds nothing to value beyond the collections already counted in working capital. What the shares are worth is therefore mostly what the balance sheet would return. At June 30, 2025 the company held $5.7 million of cash, $1.5 million of receivables and $2.1 million of inventory against $5.1 million of current liabilities (including $3.0 million of payables and $1.1 million of customer deposits) and a $1.1 million lease obligation; net current assets were about $4.3 million, or roughly $0.43 per share. No debt is reported. Bear case (about $0.00 per share): revenue keeps shrinking as it did in fiscal 2025, the annual cash drain doubles to roughly $0.9 million for three years, and inventory and receivables are collected at about 60 cents on the dollar, which leaves essentially nothing for shareholders. Base case (about $0.13): the drain continues at about $0.46 million a year (net loss plus non-cash items, excluding working-capital timing) for five years, after which net current assets of $4.3 million are realized in full. Bull case (about $0.35): the drain is stopped within two years, as the fiscal 2021 to 2025 narrowing suggests is possible, and net current assets are preserved. We credit no growth and no margin improvement beyond that, because nothing signed or proven supports it beyond that backlog. Testing the case: the cash cushion is real ($5.7 million, up from $5.3 million a year earlier), which is why the bear case is not negative, but it rose while inventory was sold down and payables grew, and customer deposits fell from $1.65 million to $1.10 million, which removes a source of prepaid cash. The company must keep meeting NYSE American listing standards; a delisting would hurt the share price but is not reflected in our values.
