Kalaris Therapeutics (formerly AlloVir, renamed on completion of a merger with Legacy Kalaris) is a clinical-stage eye-disease company. Its only product candidate is TH103, an engineered anti-VEGF protein intended to treat neovascular age-related macular degeneration and later other retinal diseases. It has no approved products and has never had revenue. A Phase 1a trial reported in December 2025 showed the drug was generally well tolerated; a Phase 1b/2 dose-finding study is under way, with preliminary data expected in the first half of 2027. Because the company earns nothing, our earnings-based approach produces a negative figure every year: about -$2.88 per share for 2025 (cash used in operations of $38.4 million, plus $1.9 million of stock compensation, minus $3.4 million of favorable working-capital swings) and about -$14.55 per share for 2024 on the restated post-merger share count. Earlier years belong to AlloVir, a different business, and are not used. Cash burn rose from about $20.7 million in 2024 to $38.4 million in 2025 and $22.6 million in the first half of 2026. The main asset is cash. At June 30, 2026 the company held about $93.5 million of cash and short-term investments (about $118 million at December 31, 2025), and management says cash funds operations into the fourth quarter of 2027. We give no value to TH103 itself: nothing in the filings shows a signed licence, a completed pivotal trial or a regulatory approval, and a drug at this stage carries no value we can evidence. What the shares are worth is therefore the cash left after funding the program until the cash runs out, with a share count of roughly 23.8 million. Bear case, $0.00: spending rises with the Phase 1b/2 study, cash is consumed by late 2027 as management's own runway implies, and wind-down costs absorb what is left. Base case, $0.40: burn of roughly $55 million a year through 2027 leaves about $11 million, or roughly $0.45 per share, discounted to about $0.40. Bull case, $1.00: spending stays at the first-half 2026 pace of about $45 million a year, leaving about $26 million at the end of 2027, roughly $1.08 per share, rounded down. No case credits a successful trial, approval or sales; those would need new evidence and future financing would dilute holders. What would make this wrong: positive Phase 1b/2 data could make TH103 worth far more than we credit, while a need to raise cash before results would dilute shareholders and could take value below these figures. The margin-of-safety price is set very low, at $0.10.

OE = CFO - WC movement - SBC - maintenance capex. CFO = -$38.37M; working-capital cash effect = +$3.43M (prepaids +$1.81M, other non-current assets -$0.36M, accounts payable -$0.09M, accrued expenses +$2.14M, lease liabilities -$0.08M), removed; SBC = $1.94M; capex = $0.20M, growth capex = $0 (no revenue) so maintenance capex = $0.20M; OE = -$38.37M - $3.43M - $1.94M - $0.20M = -$43.94M; diluted weighted shares = 15.27M; OE/sh = -$2.88. Reconciliation: net loss -$43.44M + non-cash $1.6M + WC $3.4M = -$38.4M, matches CFO. Source: FY2025 10-K, accession 0001193125-26-110659.
