Incannex Healthcare is a clinical-stage drug developer with no product on the market and no meaningful revenue (about $12,000 in fiscal 2024). Its lead candidate, IHL-42X (dronabinol plus acetazolamide), is being tested in obstructive sleep apnea in the RePOSA Phase 2/3 study. The Phase 2 portion, completed in July 2025, reported reductions in the apnea-hypopnea index of up to 83% in the high-dose group. It also has earlier programs in psychedelic-assisted therapy. The company is not selling cannabis; its candidates are pharmaceutical formulations developed under an FDA-cleared application through the 505(b)(2) pathway. What the business earns. On our owner-earnings basis (operating cash flow, less working-capital swings, less stock compensation, less maintenance capital spending), the company has lost money every year the filings support: about $13.7 million in fiscal 2023, $18.6 million in fiscal 2024 and $21.9 million in fiscal 2025. Stock compensation is a real cost and is deducted: $8.9 million in fiscal 2024, $2.6 million in fiscal 2025, and $6.4 million in the first nine months of fiscal 2026. Fiscal 2025 cash burn looked smaller ($12.5 million) partly because $5.6 million of Australian R&D tax refunds were collected. For the nine months to March 2026, operating cash outflow was $16.2 million, and the March 2026 quarter showed R&D spending of only $0.3 million against $3.7 million of general and administrative costs. Because no year is positive, there is no earnings level to build a valuation on. What the company owns and owes. As of March 31, 2026 it held $74.5 million of cash against total liabilities of $5.0 million, with essentially no borrowed money remaining (the Arena Investors convertible debenture of up to $10 million was being paid off during fiscal 2025). Removing about $3.1 million of longer-term liabilities leaves roughly $71 million of net cash, or about $5.2 per share on 13.7 million shares outstanding. That cash was raised largely in the last year through share sales; the shares were reverse-split 1-for-30, and per-share history in this analysis is restated to today's share count. The share count reported on the May 2026 cover page (12.0 million) is below the 13.7 million at quarter-end; we could not reconcile the difference from the filings and used the higher figure. About 0.4 million warrants at roughly $65 (post-split) are not expected to change the picture. How the cases work. We do not credit any value to the drug itself. Positive Phase 2 data is a fact, but approval, a partner deal or product sales are not signed, contracted or already under way, so they are worth $0 in every case. The only evidenced value is cash, and the only evidenced force acting on it is spending. Each case therefore asks how much of the roughly $71 million is still there after the pivotal stage, with nothing else added. Bear case: $0 per share. The company keeps spending at the nine-month rate of roughly $30 million a year on our basis (operating cash outflow plus stock compensation). The cash lasts about 2.4 years, the program produces nothing we can point to, and shareholders are left with little or nothing; any further capital would have to be raised by selling more shares. Business worth: $0. Owes: about $3 million of longer-term items. Difference: roughly zero. Base case: $1.50 per share. Two more years at about $24 million a year, between the nine-month rate and the much lighter March 2026 quarter, uses about $48 million. About $23 million of cash would remain, worth about $21 million today, or $1.50 per share. The business itself is worth $0 and there is no borrowed money, so the difference is that cash. Bull case: $2.50 per share. The company holds spending near the March 2026 quarter's pace of about $16 million a year for two years, helped by the Australian R&D tax refund that returned $5.6 million in fiscal 2025. About $39 million would remain, worth about $35 million today, or $2.50 per share. This case still credits no drug value. What has changed or could change our view. A signed licensing or partnership agreement, or a pivotal-study result, would add value we do not currently credit. Against that, the Phase 3 stage has yet to be shown as fully funded or budgeted in the filings, spending could rise sharply once it starts, and the company has repeatedly raised money by issuing shares (about $48 million in fiscal 2025), which dilutes existing holders. The company received a Nasdaq minimum-bid-price notice in April 2025 and later reverse-split its shares; with net cash of roughly $70 million that risk now looks addressed. Its fiscal 2025 annual report also removed the earlier going-concern language. Its internal controls over financial reporting were reported as not effective as of June 30, 2025. What we could not verify. The March 2026 quarterly report text was not available to us, only its reported figures, so pipeline timing and the Phase 3 budget beyond the annual report are not confirmed.

Chart analysis
A chartist would describe a stock that spent early 2025 in a persistent downtrend, with the closing price below $1.00 from about March 2025 and a Nasdaq minimum-bid notice in April 2025. The 1-for-30 reverse split then reset the price scale, which is a classic marker of a long decline rather than a recovery. Share count rose from about 17.6 million (pre-split) to about 194 million by June 2025 as the company sold shares, a supply pattern that tends to cap rallies. After the split, technicians would watch whether the price holds above the post-split base. Micro-cap biotech charts like this are dominated by trial news gaps, so support and resistance levels are unreliable and moves tend to be violent in either direction.
