Immix Biopharma is a clinical-stage company with no product on the market and no revenue. Its lead candidate is NXC-201, a CAR-T cell therapy for relapsed or refractory AL amyloidosis, a rare disease. NXC-201 holds FDA Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy and orphan drug designations, and the company is enrolling a 40-patient, registrational-design trial (NEXICART-2) at 18 sites, with a marketing application planned after the final readout. Interim results shown in December 2025 reported high complete-response rates in a small number of patients. How we valued it. The business has never produced positive cash flow. Owner earnings, meaning operating cash flow less working-capital swings, stock compensation and equipment spending, were about negative $0.59 per share in 2022, negative $0.90 in 2023, negative $0.80 in 2024 and negative $0.91 in 2025, and the quarterly losses rose from $10.1 million to $11.6 million in the first half of 2026. There is no earnings power to anchor on. We give no value for approval, launch or sales of NXC-201 because none of that has happened yet: there is no approved product, no partner paying for it, and the trial is unfinished. The valuation is therefore what the shares are worth as a pool of cash that the company will spend on the trial, and the potential value of a successful drug is not included in any case. That potential is real, and it is the main reason the shares could be worth far more than these figures, but we do not credit it. What the company owns and owes. At June 30, 2026 it held $225.5 million in cash and $6.6 million in short-term investments, about $232.1 million, or roughly $3.24 per share on 71.6 million shares outstanding. The cash grew from about $100 million at the end of 2025 after new share sales in the first half of 2026. It has no borrowings. Its other obligations are about $10 million of payables, accruals and a small facility lease, which we treat as part of the cost of winding down or completing the program. Cash used by operations was $21.6 million in the first half of 2026 and $23.9 million in all of 2025, and spending has been rising as the trial expands. An $8 million grant from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine has paid $6.2 million so far and is already reflected in the cash-use figures. Bear case, $1.25 per share. The trial fails to support approval or the FDA asks for more data, so the company keeps spending through 2028 at a rising rate (about $24 million in the rest of 2026, $56 million in 2027 and $65 million in 2028, in present-value terms about $134 million) and then winds down with about $10 million of remaining bills. The business is worth nothing; the shares are worth the cash left over. Business value $0, cash $232 million, obligations and spending about $143 million, difference about $89 million. Base case, $2.05 per share. Spending continues through the end of the trial in 2027 (about $76 million in present value) and the company then stops spending unless it has evidence that justifies more. We do not credit any value for an approval. Business value $0, cash $232 million, spending and obligations about $85 million, difference about $147 million. Bull case, $2.13 per share. Enrollment moves faster and spending through the readout is somewhat lower ($50 million in 2027), all funded from existing cash. Because no approval, price or launch can be evidenced today, this case adds only the lower spending. Business value $0, cash $232 million, spending and obligations about $80 million, difference about $152 million. The narrow gap between base and bull is deliberate: the model measures cash the company can preserve, not the outcome of the trial. A successful approval could be worth well above these numbers and a failure would leave the bear-case figure at most. Any value above the cash-based range depends on that outcome. What would change our view. Filing of a marketing application with the FDA, an approval, a licensing or partnership payment, or a signed commercial supply arrangement would give us something concrete to value. A slower trial, a request for a second study, or a jump in spending beyond our path would move value toward the bear case. New share sales would add cash but also add shares, which reduces per-share value unless they are sold at a price above the values shown here. Outstanding options (about 6.9 million at an average exercise price of $3.81) are above all three case values and are not counted as dilution. Accounting note. The filing states that the financial statements are prepared on a going-concern basis and that continued operations depend on further equity financing, but management states the current cash covers at least the next 12 months, and the June 2026 cash balance is roughly five years of spending at the current rate. Reported 2024 net loss was restated slightly, to $21.7 million, in the latest annual report; we use the restated figure.

Chart analysis
Price history was not part of the data reviewed, so this is limited to the reference points in the filings. The stock came public in December 2021 and the company has since sold new shares repeatedly, including an underwritten offering at $2.71 in February 2024 and further offerings that lifted the share count from about 27 million to about 71.6 million by mid-2026. A chartist would read that as a stock with heavy overhead supply that has needed to be absorbed each time, with the $2.71 offering level and the $3.81 average exercise price of outstanding options as natural areas of support and resistance. Trading in a story stock like this is typically driven by trial-data events (the December 2025 ASH presentation being the latest), so gaps around data releases would be the main features to look for.
