Hour Loop is an online retailer that buys consumer products, largely from Asia, and sells them to U.S. shoppers through Amazon (its main channel) and, increasingly, Walmart, eBay, Amazon Canada and Amazon Mexico. Revenue was $142.4 million in 2025, up 3% from $138.3 million in 2024 and up from $95.9 million in 2022. The business is thin-margin: 2025 net income was $1.7 million, and after the cash it had to tie up in inventory and the value of stock compensation, it produced roughly $2.2 million of true owner cash, about $0.06 per share. Two of the last four years were losses (2022 and 2023, when the company was stuck with too much inventory and high Amazon costs), so the earnings record is short and uneven. How we measured earning power. We started from operating cash flow, removed the swings in inventory, receivables and payables, deducted stock compensation, and deducted only the capital spending needed to stand still (the company spends very little, under $0.1 million a year). We treated the yearly write-downs of unsold inventory as a genuine cost, not something to add back. We then added back cash interest, because we value the business before its lenders and subtract debt separately. On that basis the business generated about $(0.06), $(0.04), $0.03 and $0.07 per share in 2022 through 2025. We judged that only 2024 and 2025 reflect the business as it now operates, after the post-2021 inventory overhang was worked off, so our starting level is the middle of those two years, about $0.05 per share (roughly $1.8 million a year). Owner cash in 2025 grew from $0.03 to $0.07 per share, and we assume no growth at all from that level. In the first half of 2026 revenue rose 21% to $63.9 million but net income was about flat at $1.9 million, so faster sales are not turning into higher profit, which supports not crediting growth. First-half 2026 cash flow was negative only because $2.9 million more inventory and $2.5 million more receivables were built; that is timing, not a change in earning power. What we did and did not credit. We credited no growth in the base case. The company has grown sales 3-5% a year lately, but it sells products anyone can buy from other sellers on platforms it does not control, so there is no locked-in contract, backlog or brand advantage that makes future profit growth secure. The filing itself warns that 2026 brings higher Amazon inbound placement fees, the end of Amazon's labeling service (expected to materially raise shipping and third-party logistics costs), a 10% temporary import surcharge from February 24, 2026, the loss of the low-value-parcel duty exemption, and new U.S. trade investigations covering China that could bring higher tariffs. The February 2026 Supreme Court ruling that struck down the 2025 tariffs could produce refunds of duties Hour Loop paid, but the company has not said how much or whether it will collect, so we left it out entirely. About $0.4 million of 2025 cash earnings also came from using up deferred tax assets (tax the company did not have to pay in cash); that benefit is running out. Base case: roughly $1.8 million a year of business cash flow, flat for ten years, then fading about 10% a year afterward because nothing durable protects a reseller's margins beyond the record already in the numbers. That is worth about $0.53 per share before debt. The business owes about $4.4 million: a $3.8 million subordinated loan from the founders (4.75% interest, due December 31, 2026, and already extended before) and a $0.6 million Taiwan bank line (3.42%). Against that it held $3.8 million of cash at the end of 2025, of which we treated about $2 million as not needed to run the business, so net debt is roughly $0.07 per share. Base value is about $0.46 per share. Bear case: the disclosed 2026 cost increases hit and profit slips back toward the 2023 experience: business cash flow of zero in 2026 and about $(1) million a year of losses in the following two years, then a breakeven business that shrinks and releases about 40% of the roughly $8 million it has tied up in inventory net of supplier payables. The business is then worth about $0.02 per share, but it owes about $0.07 per share, so the shares are worth roughly $(0.05): the company would owe slightly more than it is worth, though only by a small amount. The founder loan comes due at the end of 2026; the founders control 94.8% of the vote and have extended it before, but if it had to be repaid in a squeeze, that would fall on the shares. Bull case: the company's own levers work. The Walmart, eBay, Canada and Mexico channels that drove 2025 sales growth keep it going, and the 2025 cash level of about $0.07 per share holds and grows 2% a year (below the 3-5% sales growth actually achieved) for ten years, then fades 5% a year. That is worth about $0.97 per share before debt and about $0.90 after debt. What would make this wrong: a lasting fix for Amazon's fee changes and tariff costs would lift all three cases, while a return to 2022-2023 style losses or a forced repayment of the founder loan would push value toward the bear case. The annual report also states that the company's ability to continue as a going concern depends on continued profitability, funding, and possibly selling part of the business; the auditors have not raised substantial doubt, the company was profitable in 2024 and 2025 with only $4.4 million of borrowings, but the thin cash cushion is a real risk. Two points we could not tie out from the filings: the exact classification of the founder loan on the balance sheet, and the amount of any tariff refund.

Chart analysis
Hour Loop listed on Nasdaq in early 2022 as a micro-cap with a very small public float (the founders control about 94.8% of the votes), and a stock like that typically shows wide swings and long stretches of drifting sideways. The only recent price marker in the filings is a share award valued at $1.98 on January 5, 2026, so a chartist would treat that level as a reference point, but this write-up did not review the full price chart, so support and resistance levels and trend direction are not stated here.
